Aja Fatou Jagne

Aja Jagne is the visionary Co-Founder of Brighter Earth Solutions, LLC, bringing over a decade of experience in public and environmental health. She has dedicated her career to building healthier communities through evidence-based, culturally competent solutions.
Aja serves as a Health Scientist for the United States' federal government. In this role, she has developed deep expertise in global emergency response, environmental health practice, epidemiology, biostatistics, risk assessment, and project management.
With a passion for capacity building, Aja has worked alongside state, local, and federal public health agencies, helping them operate more efficiently and maximize limited resources. She is known for her strategic approach to problem-solving, data analysis, and visualization, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive impactful public health decisions.
Beyond her technical skills, Aja is an experienced cross-cultural communicator, fluent in Wolof, a key language in Senegal and The Gambia. This unique linguistic ability enables her to connect deeply with communities, building trust and fostering collaboration in diverse settings.
Aja holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health Science from Benedict College and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Environmental Health from Georgia State University.

M. Kalipha Camara

Kalipha Camara is an Environmental Chemist and Co-Founder of Brighter Earth Solutions, bringing a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, alternative energy research, and environmental health science to the firm’s global mission. With a Master’s degree in Chemistry focused on Alternative Energy and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biology, Kalipha's work bridges laboratory science with real-world environmental impact.
His expertise includes environmental chemical analysis, molecular techniques such as PCR, electrochemical research, and compound synthesis — all of which inform his commitment to advancing water quality protection, climate resilience, and sustainable environmental solutions. His academic and research experience spans renewable energy catalysis, pollutant detection, and environmental monitoring, positioning him at the intersection of science and public health.
As Co-Principal Investigator for the Mangrove Preservation Initiative in The Gambia, Kalipha leads grassroots coordination, volunteer mobilization, and cross-sector partnerships. He serves as a key liaison between Brighter Earth Solutions and local NGOs, strengthening community engagement efforts and advancing conservation advocacy nationwide. His leadership was instrumental in launching a national billboard campaign to elevate public awareness around mangrove protection and coastal resilience.
Kalipha is passionate about leveraging science as a tool for empowerment — ensuring that environmental protection efforts are both community-driven and scientifically sound.
